On The Colorado delivers the latest news and views on how we live, work and play with the Colorado River, and to expand interest in, and enthusiasm for, this spectacular part of our world heritage, and to inform the evolving dialogue concerning our future relationship with what is now such a vital artery nourishing the social and economic well being for much of southwest North America.
OTC's task is to keep its eyes and ears open for all relevant Colorado River news and events. From recreation to politics, science to history, economic to environment, OTC will report them here as simply and rapidly as possible. OTC will also recruit commentaries from writers whose views and perspectives can lend additional insight into important developments affecting the Colorado River, whether past, present or yet to occur.
Most importantly, OTC provides an avenue for the Colorado River community to ask questions about these articles; discuss the information, conclusions or opinions they contain, or start new topics to share information, raise questions, or offer analysis not yet addressed within the news discussions.
We welcome feedback and will try to respond to all relevant communiqués. So if you have information that you would like us to investigate and post, let us know.
Lastly, OTC recognizes views about the Colorado River are as varied as its landscape, and will endeavor to be an outlet for them all.
